White spinal/needle crystals; Melting Point at 230-232 degrees C. Practically insoluble in water and common organic solvents. Freely soluble in warm ethanol. Sparingly soluble in hot water and aqueous solutions of dilute acid or alkaline. Relatively stable in acid or alkaline.
Specification: Grade-A Content: ≥99%
Shelf life: 3 years under the cool, shade and dry storage conditions.
Toxicology:
Acute oral LD50 :male rats 2125mg/kg,female rats 2130mg/kg; Acute dermal LD50 for mice (male, female)>5000mg/kg. Causes eye damage and irritation. TLM(48hrs)for carp 400ppm.
Application :
6-Benzylaminopurine is high-efficiency cytokinin can accelerate cell division, cast off the burden of hibernation and promote germination. When used with gibberellins, fruit's shape can be improved. 6-Benzylaminopurine stimulates the following effects: cell division; lateral bud emergence (apples, oranges); basal shoot formation (roses, orchids); flowering (cyclamen, cacti); fruit set (grapes, oranges, melons).
